WASHINGTON D.C. —recent U.S. protests over COVID19 restrictions and police brutality have spurred increasingly loud voices to enter the public discussion over freedom of speech.
But among the shouts, some in Washington are growing concerned about whispers of a long-running, dark-money-funded ploy to turn America’s own words against us.
Notes submitted to The Noteworthy highlight what the source calls a subtle and chilling narrative.
“Think for yourselves, people. If you do your research like I have—if you look closer—you start to see connections you never thought could be possible.”
“I don’t buy the mainstream narrative. I mean, yes, we all see the blatant lies and hypocrisy happening left and right. Mostly left. Okay I shouldn’t have said that. Are you going to include that? But that’s what they WANT you to see.”
When asked who “they” were, the source replied:
“The whole mess of them are in it. The Google and the facetweets (sic), George Soros, the United Nations… Foreign actors for sure—I mean not like Governor Schwarzenegger, he’s great—but like actual other countries. I guess not Russia cause that would be too on the nose. But our so-called allies in Europe. Danger close!”
When pressed about simpler alternatives, the source concluded.
“Stop worrying about the deception you CAN see. It’s the stuff that happens between the lines that can really shake you.”
